  The "exit door" thrown open for me, was when the domineering P.O. in my congregation stabbed me in the back at an elders' meeting for personal reasons, and the other elders kept their weasel mouths shut out of their fear of him. I was then "disciplined" by a young scapegoat elder.

  The repercussions which followed my reporting them all to the C.O. - who didn't want involved - was proof that I was involved with an organization which was definitely not run by "God's people." Thanks to the P.O. thug.

  just watched this video on dub broadcasting website under latest videos.. the tony morris part about 18 mins into the video where he takes forever sermonizing about "seeking out ones rightly disposed to everlasting life" he goes on and on about it and then finally says "the gb have decided that there will only be 3 magazines a year for the public and no year books anymore".

  firstly there must be some active dubbers asking why it took forever just to say that and secondly why another cut back?.

  seems like the whole thing is just about the website now..

  From my own experience - and that of some who are very close to me - being unjustly attacked by the "shepherds" was the catalyst which opened my eyes. From that point onwards, everything in the JW garden started to smell.

  Each individual may require a certain catalyst, but Pharisaic elders make it so much easier!

  Why do (did) the majority of the general population see the JWS is a decisive fraud ?

  the jws /ibsa have been going door to door now for over 100 years in many lands and countries, with numerous pieces of supporting literature counting in the millions.. you would think after all of the publicizing that the jws faith would have grown leaps and bounds but to date the jws has only 8 million following adherents.. other christian based faiths have grown vastly more but never publicly proselytized their faith to the extent the jws have... my basic concise guess is that they see this organization as a bit of commercialized fraud, orchestrated by a religious publishing house namely the watchtower corporation, trying to get people to purchase and read the wts's literature.. and yes the wts did place a set price on its literature including yearly subscriptions.

  was it just too obvious ?.

  did the wts not think that many people who they called on were from even bigger and older established christian faiths but didn't say or preach what the wts was preaching in their apparent version of the gospel ?.

  Hey Fink, something I'd never considered while I was "in" is the thinly veiled message which JW's basically hit householders with; "Whatever religion or faith you have, it's false. Only we have the truth & God's approval, and if you don't abandon your present religion and join us, you and your loved ones will soon be destroyed - forever!" Trolley JW's are probably now relieved that they don't have to continue with this attitude of arrogance anymore.

  The sheeple are being reminded in one of the videos to accept any direction given by the cult, even if they don't understand/agree with it.

  The context is referring to those who have been split up from close family members and packed off to different congregations. The G.O.D.'s work in mysterious ways.

  good evening , .

  i feel like i am going crazy - it’s so hard not being able to talk to the ones i love about how i really feel - meaning the “ truth “ is a big lie and a big waste of time.

  it’s so weird - i can’t talk to my wife , or kids about how i really feel and it’s causing me probalms that i recognize.

  COVERT - your family situation is a challenge in your life, not an insurmountable obstacle.

  You now have to prepare your personal strategy, because you well know what the strategies of the cult are. Continue showing your wife that you're a loving husband - by any means you think she'd appreciate.

  As others have said, you will have to fade and by the sounds of it you'd better do it carefully & quickly, because psychologically you're going to suffer the longer you delay things and bottle them up. Do not reveal your anti-org thoughts to anyone - especially your zealot wife.

  $5.5 Million to be transferred to World Wide Work from Assembly Hall fund

  a letter was read tonight in our kingdom hall that the money that the circuits in the indianapolis area had in savings to build a new assembly hall will now be transferred to the www to build kingdom halls in lands where they are needed and a new assembly hall for us will not be built.. we had a beautiful assembly hall near downtown indy that was paid for.

  it was sold a couple of years ago.

  we were promised a new assembly hall to be built in southern ohio near the indiana border but they can kiss that goodbye now.

  close to the end mr macdonald was walking through an underpass, at the exit, graffitied on the wall in massive black letters was ‘jwfacts.com’ it was plain to see........

  Hmmmmmmmmm!!!! Curiouser & curiouser.

  This post just lit up a brain cell in my head; I remember hearing back in the 80'/90's that Mr. Trevor MacDonald was studying with JW's, but for whatever reason, terminated his involvement.

  Maybe he was trying to help others see things which he'd discovered - who knows? But it's a nice coincidence.

  2 tim 3:1… but know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here.
